Prevention of Opiate Drug Abuse

ive been taking suboxone for about 3 wks now. i started out the induction at 16mg once a day for 2 wks, then went to 8mg once a day for 5 days and now im starting 4mg for the next 5 days.after that i plan to go to 2 mg for 5 days & so forth.this drug has been wonderful and a miracle for me.HOWEVER,im strictly taking it to get off the opiates, not to replace the norco i was on.ive been very determined in this process and every week the i cut the dosage back im that much more excited that im closer to my goal of being free of this horrible drug thats been destroying my life for a yr and a half. i certainly have no desire whatsoever to continue taking another drug as a crutch from the norco.so far ive been doing great with no side effects at all,as ive been taking the drug exactly as the dr has ordered.hopefully it will continue that way while im tapering off.i do reccomend this drug to anyone whos in a desperate situation trying to renew their life.good luck!
